The Greater KC Public Safety Credit Union presents the first Guns N' Hoses 5K to raise money for [Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment](http://www.survivingspouseandfamily.org/) (S.A.F.E.). An organization that provides immediate financial support to surviving families of law enforcement officers, firefighters, and EMT/paramedics who lose their life in the line of duty.

Now here's the fun part, when registering for the race you will pick a team: police or fire. Team Police will receive a blue shirt while Team Fire will receive a red shirt.

Which team will raise the most money... only time will tell.
